1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By creating an account or using BetterBrews ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
BetterBrews is a mobile application that allows users to:
Track and rate coffees
Share reviews and tasting notes
Discover coffees and roasters
Connect with other users
Use AI-powered coffee scanning
Save brew setups
The App is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future.
3. ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Eligibility
Minimum age: 14 years (in accordance with Spanish law)
Under 14: verifiable parental consent required
Under 18: parental authorization recommended
Accurate information must be provided
No automated or bot accounts
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining confidentiality of your credentials
All activity under your account
Notifying us of unauthorized access
4. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:
Post illegal, harmful, or abusive content
Violate intellectual property rights
Manipulate reviews or ratings
Use bots or scrape data
Disrupt or interfere with the App
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts.
5. USER CONTENT
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of your content.
5.2 License
You grant BetterBrews a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content to operate the service.
5.3 Moderation
We may remove content that violates these Terms at our discretion.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights related to the App, including branding, design, and technology, belong to BetterBrews or its owner.
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App uses:
Supabase
OpenAI
PostHog
We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. DISCLAIMER
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
User-generated content reflects opinions only. We do not verify or endorse reviews.
AI features may produce inaccurate results and should not be relied upon without verification.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful under applicable consumer law.
10. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time.
11. MODIFICATIONS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections in your country of residence.
